Abstract

An airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is being developed at Multimedia University, Malaysia. The SAR system is a C-band, single polarization, linear FM radar system. The system will be used for monitoring and management of Earth resources such as paddy fields, oil palm plantation and soil surface. This paper describes the conceptual design, the microwave system and current status of the development
