Abstract

The motivation of this research is to design an interpolation technique which is able to reconstruct realistic images that is free from unwanted artifacts such as jagged edges,checkerboard effect,and blurring. The objective of this research is to develop a novel Lagrange interpolation algorithm which incorporates time delay fractions to generate unbiased prediction of the unknown interpolated pixels.
