Abstract

A Native XML Database defines a logical model for an XML document and stores and retrieves XML documents according to that model. This project compares the performance of six consisting open source Native XML database products from the point of view of handling four basic database operations. Related benchmark techniques will be used to deploy and evaluate these products.
