Abstract

This poster presents a SIW coupler at 26 GHz is presented for millimetre wave systems for the 5th generation communication. The coupler is meant to prove the concept of SIW couplers performance to be followed for millimetre wave applications using Roger 5850 substrate. The proposed coupler was simulated, analysed, and optimized using computer simulation technology (CST) software. The performance of the SIW coupler showed a good response with return loss greater than 10 dB and bandwidth of 6.86 GHz. With phase error 2 degree.
