Abstract

V2V security is crucial in ensuring that the com�munication between vehicles is protected from unauthorized access and tampering, which can lead to safety issues and loss of trust in the technology. Switched beam antennas are a specific type of antenna that can change the direction of the beam they transmit or receive, in order to improve the communication performance and coverage in V2V as compared to omnidirectional antennas. However, they are more prone to cyber attacks due to multiple access points In this research, a secure environment for a switched beam antenna system in the V2V ecosystem using machine learning technology is proposed. Cyberattacks are externally injected, and the behavior is observed by incorporating the proposed technology. Overall, a significant increase in throughput is observed with strong V2V communication in dense environments over significant distances.
