Abstract

This poster presents a SIW antenna at 26 GHz is presented for millimetre wave systems for the 5th generation communication. The antenna is meant to prove the concept of SIW antennas performance to be followed for millimetre wave applications using Roger 5850 substrate. The proposed antenna was simulated, analysed, and optimized using computer simulation technology (CST) software. Simulation results show a good return loss of greater than10 dB and impedance bandwidth of about 1.12 GHz.
