In this research, the methodology is divided into 4 steps. Firstly, Modeling of 5G technologies and Network architecture (RIS deployment). Then, Formulation of constrained optimization problem (energy-efficiency optimization). Then, solving the constrained optimization problem to find out the precoding weight, amplification power and phase shift of each element of the active RIS. Finlally, report the findings and results into a conference or journal.
