Abstract

Background - Whilst the entrepreneurship training programs (ETPs) are continually seen as one of the effective ways in giving both up-and-coming and existing entrepreneurs with the fundamental entrepreneurial skills, a new challenge arises during the Covid outbreak for the entrepreneurship training programs providers, as they welcome the newcomer segment that is coming from the community of art culture entrepreneurs (ACEs). Since the ACEs community is found to be having a distinctive personality trait as compared to mainstream entrepreneurs’ communities, the way to train them will also be different. Purpose - Therefore, a fresh understanding is needed to analyze and determine the Training needs analysis (TNA) for ETP and there is a need for additional input to determine the psychometric inventory of ACEs. Design/methodology/approach - The proposed sample consisted of 200 ACEs under the purview of CENDANA and MOTAC in Malaysia. Moreover, this research will employ quantitative methods approach. The established HEXACO Personality Inventory survey will be used to examine their psychological inventory and subsequently generate the reliable training need analysis output through the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) model as an additional technique. Findings/Expected Contributions - The revised structural model is to update and improve the present entrepreneurial psychometric evaluation to become an ACE-Psychometric Inventory instrument by confirming the determinant of psychological characteristics of ACEs, which could develop personalized TNA that increases individualized ETPs content and delivery for ACEs development. The study also adds to the objective of improving the creative economic environment through a well-structured, artist-friendly mechanism, and the ACEs psychometric inventory test findings provide the data needed to develop future ACEs regulations. Research limitations - Finally, one of the study's drawbacks is the necessity for repeated observations, maybe in different settings, to evaluate such a comprehensive construct. Originality/value - Hence, the findings demonstrated the relationship between ETPs, ACEs, and also the psychometric inventory of ACEs. Resultantly, the future effects and outputs of the study are crucial for policy, practice theory, and ongoing research on entrepreneurship training programmes, training needs analysis, and the ACEs community.
