Abstract

This work depicts the portraits of two young females with headgear. These portraits are then surrounded by images of digital icons that represent countless applications used in various digital devices. The females are seen static, as if they are silently listening through their headgears. This painting suggest a state of being captured, or being possessed by the technology as experienced by today’s generation whereby they are constantly immersed in the digital world.
