Abstract

This paper presents the overview of linear frequency modulated (LFM) photonics RADAR. We focus on generating multi-band LFM signals followed by object detection and imaging. The main principle involves in the demonstration of LFM is the redshift of the modes with the injection of the optical beam. Using this principle, multi-beams can be injected for generating multi-band, unidentical and multi-chirp LFM signals. The generated LFM signal is used for the detection and imaging of objects. The filtered back-projection technique is used to improve the resolution and quality of the detection and imaging.
