Abstract

In general, the roughness structure consists can be idealized into two types of uniform structure known as d-type and k-type structure. The d-type structure contains trapped eddy while k-type structure has smaller eddy at the corner. The flow across both types of structures were studied by assuming nanofluids as continuum while nanoparticles as discrete phase. RANS models were used to simulate the flow across the roughness structure using Eulerian approach while the motion of nanoparticles was treated as Lagrangian.
