Abstract

This research is important as it aims to propose a framework to overcome obstacles that limit persons with disabilities to return to work after injuries so that more effective strategies can be drafted to help PWDs to return to work in both public and private sectors. This research is important as the return to work after occupational injuries for PWDs will not only beneficial for PWDs by increasing their income and quality of life, but also beneficial for the whole society and nation. This research intends to collect 300 responses from occupational injured employees who participated the return to work program. Starting from select a random first participant from the list, every 20th of the participant of return to work are further selected as the respondent to take survey. The sustainable return to work framework developed by this study is the first ever return to work framework in Malaysia.
