Abstract

We made a computational error in calculating the high symmetry points when plotting the aluminene band structure and phonon dispersion. The revised band structure and phonon dispersion of the aluminene under different bi-axial strain is shown in Figs. 1 and 2 respectively. There are no changes on density of states (DOS) compared to the original paper. We include the DOS in Fig. 1 for the sake of comparison only. The updated band structures in Fig. 1 show the presence of gapped Dirac cone in all the high symmetry directions. The replacement of these figures does not alter the results, discussion, and conclusion of the original paper.
