Abstract

This paper examines the implementation of various e-Government projects in Malaysia since it was launched in 1996. The paper will discusses the challenges and issues related to these projects and suggest some recommendations as improvement tool to uplift the e-Government program to greater heights. Essentially our findings suggests that apart from technical considerations, the true value potential of ICT utilization in the context of public sector delivery in Malaysia is contingent upon several factor spanning across legislative, procedural, managerial and organizational imperatives.
