Abstract

The study aims to explore the possibility of using treated betelnut fiber on the mechanical and tribological performance of polymeric composites and hence suggest for potential commercialization in substituting the conventional glass fiber composites.This study is to further investigate the possibility to boost the wear and fictional performance of the betelnut fibers by treating them with appropriate NaOH solution.
