Abstract

A test program is a series of tests that are equipped with test conditions in which the test data are obtained by referring to product specification. It is used to validate the functionality of a microprocessor to make sure that it works as expected and meets increases, it requires more tests to detect all the possible defects, which contributes to more complicated test programs. Large amount of tests with each test having multiple out-going ports in the test program leads to huge number of possible test paths. It is difficult for the test engineers to analyze the test flows of the test program due to large amount of tests paths. Consequently, a visualization model is proposed to assist the test engineers to better understand the test program flow structure.
